client desired a cover for his novel that portrayed the music industry in a pop / rock record label setting. I chose an image with a pop art feel that is often seen in association with music. The bright colors and repeated circle (record) pattern is eye catching and instantly recognized as a musical novel. The title is in a current rock / grunge font in all capital letters and author name is in a white rectangle that stretches across to remain consistent with the geometrical pattern and to stand out on the page

The book is designed to appeal to children starting from the age of 6, featuring elements that engage young minds in playful and educational activities during travel.

A million Ways to Make Vanilla Ice Cream Book Cover

This cover is a guide and recipe book for vanilla ice cream. The cover uses a bright and fun illustrative style. The colors of a bold teal blue, with orange and yellow have a fun summer feel. Radiating rays coming from behind the center cone focus your attention to the large cone and has the feel of summer and fun. The smaller cones moving off the page give you the idea of the line of cones continuing off in a line as if there were a million of them.

Small but Mighty

A superhero theme describes the concept of this title. The photo of the young girl is the focus of the design, the blue sky behind her fills up the cover. A comic book style dot pattern is overlayed and fades in and out in different places to give texture and variety.The word Mighty in the title is in a strong script that has a superhero feel with banner like ends extending off the cover. They also feel a little like lightning bolts. Simple stars above and below the subtitle add shape and fun and an element that can be repeated in the back cover as bullets for the main points of the book

Cover Design for Kat & Steward's Book

I envision the book cover titled "I See Your Point, You Moron!: 12 crucial techniques for dealing with people whose opinions are different… and f*cking stupid" with a serene aesthetic, predominantly in shades of calming green and white.
